History

Those were the years when the cotton knitting industry was developing…

In the year 1954 the first circular machine for knitted fabrics was set up in the small handicraft workshop in Grigna street of Cedrate, Gallarate in the surroundings of Varese. It was the model “Marchisio” (Diameter 16 – Fineness 16).

Those were the years when the cotton knitting industry was developing in Busto Arsizio and Gallarate areas and was destined to become the most prestigious national textile pole.

Following such a development, the young Renzo Eusebio and Adele Radaelli began the fabrics production on behalf for the most important textile companies of the area.

The steady expansion of the firm, which was now far from being the handicraft workshop of the beginning, lead it to become a real industrial company and then, a more suitable site for the factory was built in Crugnola of Mornago, Varese.

By the end of the sixties, a dyeing and a finishing division were set up for self-production, while a new rage of products was put on the market, including technical/industrial fabrics for car and shoe industries.

In 1995 the firm “I Cotoni del Firello s.r.l.” was constituted. This is one of the most modern rotor spinning factories of the world, whose yarns, with their superior quality, give more prestige and thus offer further development possibilities to Eusebio S.p.A. company.

During the year 2003 the new Energy Sector with Eusebio Energia S.p.A. was born and the first hydroelectric power plants were acquired. They are able to produce about 60 million Kwh /year. The final task is to reach a production of 200 million Kwh/year from renewable energy sources.
