From growing to industrial production
The history of our cotton continues in the Korhogo area, in the North of the Ivory Coast. In a renovated factory built by the American company Continental Eagle, an historical company in cotton machines production, take place the ginning and the transformation into bales of our raw cotton coming directly from the fields.
The ginning consists in the separation of the seeds from the cotton fiber. The cotton fibers are then carefully cleaned and turned into bales. The remaining cotton seeds (graine) are used for subsequent sowing and also traded for animal fodder production in Africa and in Europe.
